Ransomware Attacks Rise Again

After the recent decline, ransomware attacks are on the rise again. Ransomware (RaaS) groups are leading the resurgence, according to data released by NCC Group. According to reports from various professional cybersecurity companies and government agencies, global ransomware attacks in 2020 increased by 150 percent compared to the previous year.

In the first quarter of 2021, global ransomware attacks on critical infrastructures, public institutions and organizations increased tremendously, while ransom payments by targeted organizations reached serious numbers. In general, almost all states cannot resist the attacks and suffer heavy losses as a result. In this case, the responsibility falls on the companies, but since the state is damaged in some way as a result of the attack, important duties fall on the governments.

How to Protect yourself from a Ransom Attack?
